Joker: Folie a Deux is now in theaters, and while it’s not earning the greatest reviews, it gives viewers a unique new perspective on one of Gotham’s most iconic villains. The film is likely to be in theaters for a few more weeks, but you can already preorder a premium 4K steelbook and standard Blu-ray releases. A release date is yet to be announced for either version, though we can’t imagine they’ll arrive for several more months. If you’re interested in adding even more recent films to your home theater, preorders are also live for Deadpool & Wolverine and Alien: Romulus, which are also getting 4K steelbook editions--though they are much more expensive than Joker: Folie a Deux's 4K steelbook release. The Joker: Folie a Deux 4K Steelbook includes 4K UHD, standard Blu-ray, and digital formats of the film. It’ll likely also be loaded with bonus features, though a full list hasn’t been revealed. The big draw of this bundle, however, is the gorgeous steelbook, which features Joker on the front and Harley Quinn on the back. Expect to learn more about its bonus features and release date in the coming weeks. Preorders are available at Walmart. Pick up this version to get 4K, Blu-ray, and digital copies of the film. It's essentially the same thing as the above steelbook bundle--minus the steelbook. You can preorder at Amazon. If you don’t need the fancy steelbook or 4K format, you can save some cash by preordering the Joker: Folie a Deux Blu-ray. It lacks the extras of the two other versions, but it’s also a bit cheaper. The price difference isn’t very large, however, and the extra money for the 4K Steelbook certainly gets you a lot of cool goodies. Preorders for this version are live at Amazon. To complete your collection, you can pick up the first Joker movie on 4K UHD and standard Blu-ray. The Joker 4K UHD Bundle includes 4K, Blu-ray, and digital formats of the film, along with bonus features such as behind-the-scenes footage, costume tests, and more. It’s currently on sale for $21 (was $25). The Joker Blu-ray is even cheaper at $9 (was $15) and gets you the same bonus features. Joker: Folie a Deux is set after the events of the original film, with the villain awaiting trial for his murders. It’s during this time that he meets Harleen Quinzel, and the two quickly hit it off.
