Once you’ve opened a brick of HeroClix, the second brick in the same case has a lot of duplicates. A lot. Some boosters will only net you 1 new piece at this point. Still, I wanted you to see the new pieces I pulled in my second brick of Justice League Unlimited by WizKids. Here is the first half.
Booster 11 – Future Wonder Woman (rare). Booster 12 – Justice Lords Batman (uncommon), Supergirl in white shirt (rare), Lex Luthor from the Super-Friends (chase). Yes, here was our chase!
Booster 13 – Future Amanda Waller. Booster 14 – Blight (of Batman Beyond). Booster 15 – Martian Manhunter. So happy to pull Martian Manhunter. Somehow WizKids left him out of the Justice League theme in the Batman Animated set.
Booster 16 – Speedy. Booster 17 – Justice Lords Hawkgirl (super-rare #1). To be honest, I was kind of cool on these 2 pulls.
Booster 18 – STRIPE (super-rare #2). Booster 19 – Future Superman. Very happy to pull both of these.
Booster 20 – Sinestro, Micron (super-rare #3). OK, I was super psyched to pull this booster. It completed the uncommons and gave us the one piece I thought would never be in this box, the super rare prime.
Note the streaks of white in Future Wonder Woman’s hair.
Supergirl wore the white shirt in Superman Animated and the 1st 26 episodes of JLU. For the final season she switched to the blue shirt.
Lex stole 40 cakes. That’s as many as 4 tens and that’s terrible. Yes, his card pays tribute to that piece of trivia and, he is playable at 2 point levels, 10 and 40.
The two versions of Waller are easy to tell apart thanks to different paint schemes.
That’s it, that’s our 2 bricks. I hope to be back and write some summary comments in the near future.
