Katy Perry is making us LOL like crazy with all that polyester on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

We've seen Katy Perry dress up in some pretty HILARZ outfits before (remember her "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)" nerd motif, that one time she dressed up as a redheaded prison guard on "Raising Hope," and when she was Jane Lane from "Daria"?), but there just aren't enough LOLs in the world for this photo of Katy dressed like a male '70s game show host on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." (GUYS! That skinny microphone screams Bob Barker, formerly of "The Price Is Right"!). But whatever she's trying to do in this moment, She's. Doing. It. Right. Because LOOK AT that mustache!!!

Leave it to "Ellen" to bring out Katy's funny side, right? The "Firework" singer tweeted the retro still with the caption "WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON HERE?? Tune in to @TheEllenShow tomorrow to find out!" We're dying to know why Katy is dressed as a groovy host, but we're ALSO kinda hoping to get the dish on her supposed (maybe/kinda/probably?!) romance with John Mayer, what it was like to meet Mindless Behavior (!!!), and most important, when we can FINALLY EXPECT NEW KATY PERRY MUSIC!! Also, we'll happily accept some pointers on how to assemble the perfect silly costume -- it's never too early to prep for Halloween.
