Katy Perry is a pink vision as Elle's latest cover girl.

It's not like you need us to remind you that Katy Perry is a dime piece, but if you want us to, we totally will: KATY PERRY IS A DIME PIECE! As in smokin' hot, beautiful, better luck to you next time, Russell Brand. (Too soon? Maybe.) Aside from being nominated for you know, four VMAs, the "Wide Awake" singer also has the honor of being Elle's coveted September issue cover girl. Some people just get all the good stuff, you know?

Inside the issue, Katy leaves behind her candy-coated days and opens up about the possibility of a second marriage, being a role model, and living a life of integrity and strength. In regards to her stance on love, Katy explains, "I obviously have a lot to say right now.... I'm a woman who likes to be courted -- strongly. Never say never, I guess you'd say. I'll let love take the lead on that." On being a role model, Katy is proud of the responsibility: "I have no regrets.... I'm not going to be everything to everyone. I can't tell a person when it's time for them to have sex. Or if they should have a cigarette... but I try to live my life with a lot of integrity, and, hopefully, that sends a message." Lastly, on her perma-sugar coated candy image, Katy admits, "I love what I do, and when I don't love what I do, I'll make a change.... I can't be the candy queen forever." UMMM, are you sure about that one, Katy?? Because we think you can AND YOU SHOULD! Just an opinion, though.
