Finally, I can let out the EPIC SIGH OF RELIEF I've been holding since, like, 2006. Kevin Richardson is officially rejoining the Backstreet Boys,and it's Sharpie levels of permanent. Even better? "Good Morning America" will host Kevin's reunion performance with Backstreet Boys on Aug. 31 in Central Park. (See that pink tent? That's me, camping out.)

The former ex-boy-bander, who quit the group in 2006, made some random appearances in the past few years of his Backstreet retirement but never became AN OFFICIAL member of NKOTBSB, which I'm still pissed about. But really, these appearances were the musical equivalent of a Kevin snack when we really craving a robust Kevin three-course meal. Sometimes I WANT IT THAT WAY. QUIT PLAYING GAMES WITH MY HEART, KEVIN!

Backstreet Boys announced they're working on a new album -- their first with Kevin since 2005 -- slated for release in spring 2013 to coincide with the band's 20th anniversary. (In other news, I'm older than Methuselah.) Oh, AND, Backstreet Boys are getting a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame next year, so it's a good time to be boy again, even when you're a man. Congratulations, guys! And Kevin... you've played your part. Kept us in the dark. Now, we eagerly await your showing us the shape of your heart upon your triumphant return to Backstreet. Your move, *NSYNC.
