Netflix has released an official trailer for Kid Cosmic, the upcoming new animated series from Powerpuff Girls creator Craig McCracken. The series' first season will be premiering on the streaming service February 2.

According to an official synopsis, the show "follows the adventures of an imaginative and enthusiastic boy" who is able to achieve his dream of becoming an intergalactic hero after discovering five cosmic stones in a wrecked spaceship--but he learns that "his fantasy of being a hero is very different from the reality of what it actually means to become one."
