Reality star, entrepreneur, and socialite Kim Kardashian has signed on to star in the upcoming Season 12 FX's American Horror Story, according to The Hollywood Reporter (and numerous other outlets). Kardashian will join returning AHS alum and past Ryan Murphy collaborator Emma Roberts for the long-running anthology series.

This will also be the first season that will be written and show-run by a single person, Halley Feiffer. Feiffer is also currently writing the book for the Broadway-bound musical adaptation of Thelma and Louise.

"Kim is among the biggest and brightest television stars in the world and we are thrilled to welcome her to the AHS family," said AHS co-creator Murphy (via THR). "Emma and I are excited about collaborating with this true force in the culture. Halley Feiffer has written a fun, stylish, and ultimately terrifying role, especially for Kim, and this season is ambitious and unlike anything we have ever done."
