Kristen Stewart had quite a night at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards. Aside from taking home two Golden Popcorn trophies, for Best Kiss and Movie of the Year, she met up with her "Snow White and the Huntsman" co-star Chris Hemsworth to discuss the box-office success of their edgy fairy tale adaptation, which is already in talks for a sequel. In addition to looking toward the future of her career, the Movie Awards also brought her a few friendly visits from her past.

Josh Hutcherson was on hand at the main event, nabbing Best Male Performance for his role as Peeta in "The Hunger Games." While he was hanging out backstage, he ran into his big sister Stewart. That's right, you read that correctly: big sister. You might remember a film called "Zathura: A Space Adventure," a family comedy following two boys who innocently begin a board game not knowing that what happens in the game becomes real life (an intergalactic "Jumanji" if you will).

Hutcherson played Stewart's baby brother, who managed to set the house on fire, call in a full-scale alien attack and freeze the actress into a human popsicle. As you can imagine, there was a lot of yelling directed at him from Stewart's character, but Hutcherson's not so little anymore. Standing taller than the actress as they were photographed together backstage, he could definitely pay her back with a little playful revenge for the sibling torment.

Stewart's other blast from the past came when her "Panic Room" co-star Jodie Foster made her Movie Awards debut to present the "Twilight" cast with the Golden Popcorn for Movie of the Year. In the film, Foster played Stewart's mother and the legendary actress told MTV News it's been "totally fun" watching Stewart grow up.

"I've been watching all these years. It's exciting," she said regarding the opportunity to present Stewart with an award. "When I met her, she was 9 or 10 years old. I just adore her. I spent 110 days in a very small room with that girl, and I'm just so proud to see what an amazing lady she's turned into. [She's] a great actress."

Foster described the "Twilight" phenomenon that brought Stewart success as an "amazing thing," saying there's "magic" in Stephenie Meyer's saga that gripped the attention of the world.

"There is something behind those books, a magic behind those books that people relate to, 'The Hunger Games' as well. My kids read those and gobbled them up. [The books] have started a whole new zeitgeist. It's sort of changed the world. People got into vampires from 'Twilight,' and I don't think the world will ever be the same."

Jaw-dropping, heart-pounding, gut-busting moments galore. See what went down at the 21st annual MTV Movie Awards!
