Lady Gaga MAY be a rapper now, guys!

Nothing Lady Gaga does ever truly shocks us, right? The Lady's worn a helmet made of flowers, channeled Audrey Hepburn, and even sported a gold beehive during her "Fame Eau De Parfum" launch event (oh, and by the way, the perfume itself is BLACK!), got a tattoo drawn on the back of her shaved head at said launch event, yet still, we're not even a little bit shocked.

...That is of course until now because Lady Gaga has decided to, (allegedly) you know, become a rapper. You heard us: Mother Monster might be trying to dominate the hip-hop game with her latest record, "Cake Like Gaga." We say "might" because there is still some controversy over whether it's truly Gaga rapping on the track, but we kinda sorta definitely think it is! In the bumpin' "Cake Like Gaga," the "rapper" spits about a hypothetical gangsta Gaga, or the Gaga that Gaga would become if she was in the hip-hop world. You get it.

According to Spin, Gaga's producer DJ White Shadow tweeted the song's beat and then asked fans to submit vocals promising he'd post "the winner." He followed with “bonus points for whoever writes a song about Lady Gaga.” White Shadow picked the winner, but of course, they remained anonymous. THEN, (you guys still with us?) Lady Gaga's makeup artist tweeted a link to the winning version, which, not so coincidentally, sounded a lot like Lady Gaga. We're just not sure what to believe, but we're talking about the girl who coordinates outfits with her dog! We have to be open to the possibility that the most outlandish theory is actually the truth -- aka Lady Gaga is now a rapper!
