I’m jetting off to celebrate the nuptials of our own Cantina Dan and walking through terminal 5 at LAX I came across a store I didn’t know existed – The Mattel Experience. It’s very well stocked with all the latest Mattel lines and has a better selection than any mass retailer or even the Mattel Company store at their headquarters. Of course this IS the airport so prices are pretty steep ($17 for the 4″ DC Multiverse line. $23 for 6″ DC Total Heroes line) but if there was something you missed or can’t find locally it might serve you better than eBay.

They had it all: Hot Wheels, Barbie, Monster High, Imaginext, action figures, etc. There’s even a little Hot Wheels Hot Rod photo op for the kids!
