Boxed version of Kickstarter-funded point-and-click adventure game coming to retailers in North America starting on October 29.
A boxed version of the Kickstarter-funded Leisure Suit Larry Reloaded will be available at retail in North America beginning October 29, Replay Games announced today.
"What are they thinking? Our whole Kickstarter campaign was built around our 'rebel attitude.' The video even shows me mocking retail sales! What? Oh, good; at least it wont be in Wal-Mart!," series creator Al Lowe said in a statement.
Leisure Suit Larry Reloaded--a remake of 1987's Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards--originally launched on PC, Mac, iOS, and Android in June. The remake was headed by Lowe, with work by former Sierra Online employee Josh Mandel and music composition by Journey's Austin Wintory.
The game's original Kickstarter campaign raised over $655,000 from more than 14,000 backers. For more on Leisure Suit Larry Reloaded, check out GameSpot's review.
