Selena Gomez released the TINIEST preview of "Come & Get It"!
We think Selena Gomez woke up yesterday and was all like, "It's April Fools'! Imma punk all y'all and tell you I'm releasing a snippet of my new song, 'Come & Get It,' but really IT'S JUST GONNA BE THE BACKING TRACK. MWAHAHAHA." Well, April Fools' joke or not, Selena released a preview of her forthcoming single, but you can't hear her singing at all. We ARE trying to look at this in a positive light, however, because at least we're one baby step closer to hearing the "Spring Breakers" star's new jam when it debuts April 8 on "On Air With Ryan Seacrest." Which, by the way, is just a few days before she'll perform it LIVE at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards!

Instead of sampling Selena's throaty pipes, the "Come & Get It" snippet yields only a preview of the song's backing track. Surprisingly enough, it isn't a sugary-sweet pop ditty but rather a haunting bhangra beat and chant. Again, Selena, we're SUPER pleased to hear anything new, but in the immortal words of our mutually worshipped queen Britney Spears: "GIMME MORE!!!!" And by "me" we mean "the entire community of Selenators who are chomping at the bit to hear your new single." THANKS.
