Today during Sony's Gamescom 2013 media briefing, the company announced Little Big Planet Hub for the PlayStation 3, the first free-to-play entry in the series.

Sony said players will have a "truckload" of tools to make their own games, though they will also be able to buy other items.
Little Big Planet 3 is rumored to be in development at Sumo Digital.
