Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn--the live-action Halo series from Machinima--has been nominated for an Emmy Award for best Main Title Design.

It is up against The Newsroom, Elementary, Vikings, American Horror Story: Asylum, and Da Vinci's Demons.

The 65th Emmy Awards will be held Sunday, September 22 on CBS.

The five-chapter series was released in October, with episodes arriving on a weekly basis leading up to the November 6 launch of Halo 4. The series has drawn 55 million views as of March.

It has not been revealed if Microsoft plans to launch similar video programming to support the upcoming Halo title for Xbox One.
