Macklemore and Ryan Lewis are hitting up three lucky colleges en route to the 2013 Woodie Awards!

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' "Thrift Shop" has held the No. 1 slot in the country for three straight weeks, which is pretty cool considering the duo are the first independent artists to do so in nearly 20 years (and they didn't even think the song would even catch on!). And don't forget about their full-length debut, The Heist, which nabbed the No. 1 spot on iTunes and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard charts. Yeah, we didn't name them an MTV "Artist to Watch" in 2013 for nothing! So, considering all of the boys' success, it seems only natural that Macklemore & Ryan Lewis would headline the 2013 Woodies Tour.

The "Same Love" duo are hitting up three lucky colleges before heading to the the 2013 mtvU Woodies in Austin, TX on March 14. And before the Seattle rhymer and DJ roll through your city, we have a bit of advice: You should probably hit up the resale shop BEFORE their bus stops in town. Now that they have that "top of the charts" cash, they're cleaning that ish out!
