Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy has clarified the situation surrounding Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige's rumored Star Wars movie. Speaking to IGN, Kennedy said Feige is a big Star Wars fan but there was never a real discussion about making a movie. "Kevin Feige's project was something that was announced in the press... but nothing ever got developed. We never discussed an idea," Kennedy said. "As everyone knows, Kevin is a huge Star Wars fan. If he did come up with something, I would be all ears. But that's never really happened. It's not an abandoned project--it just didn't happen." According to press reports, Feige was going to produce a Star Wars movie, but no official announcement was ever made about this. In March this year, a report said Feige's rumored Star Wars movie had been shelved.
