The Matrix 4's official title was reportedly leaked, and it's fitting in with the rest of the sequels. The movie set to hit theaters on December 21, 2021 is Matrix: Resurrection.

How did this supposed name reveal come about? Let's go on a journey. According to Yahoo, a Reddit post on /r/Matrix explains that an Instagram user named love_lana_wachowski had gotten a hold of a video that was originally posted by the makeup artist for The Matrix 4. The video was of a wrap gift that came with a card, revealing the title of the film.

In addition, there was a cool trenchcoat shown in a video allegedly posted by the makeup artist, and on the inside is the title of the film, in the cool Matrix font. Check out below.
