EL SEGUNDO, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Mattel, Inc. (NASDAQ:MAT) announced today that Jessica Dunne, former executive vice president, Licensing, Disney Classic Characters and Disney Baby, was appointed GM & senior vice president, Consumer Products, responsible for overseeing licensing for Mattel’s stable of powerhouse brands, including Barbie®, Hot Wheels®, Monster High®, Fisher-Price® and American Girl®. Dunne also joins Mattel’s Leadership Team, a group of senior executives comprising the direct reports of Mattel’s chief executive officer as well as select functional senior executives.

Reporting to Kilpin and Allmark, Dunne will also support Jean McKenzie, executive vice president, American Girl.

During her career at Disney, Dunne held several leadership positions including executive vice president, Global Licensing for Disney Consumer Products; executive vice president, Disney Moms and Babies; and executive vice president, Global Toys and Electronics.
Prior to joining Disney Consumer Products, Dunne served as senior vice president, Network Marketing and Off-Channel Commerce at Cartoon Network, as well as various positions at consumer products companies.
Dunne served on the Toy Industry Association’s Board of Directors from 2007-2009. She holds a Master of Business Administration from Farleigh Dickinson University and a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Saint Joseph’s University. Dunne and her family, including two young sons, currently reside in Laguna Beach, Calif.
