Last week Mattel took to their message boards and asked fans of the MOTUC line for their feedback on the debate on the removable armor. Lately the way the removable armor on some figures has been engineered have made the upper torsos much more bulky to the point where the figures can’t put their arms at their side. Figures like Fisto, Sea Hawk and the upcoming Blade and Goat Man are some of the examples that fans mention having this problem.
Mattel is asking fans if they care if the armor is removable or not or if they should continue down the path or re-engineering how the armor works.
“As we continue to find ways to make the tabbed armor fit as snug as possible, one question from the design group was whether we should just make the armor non removable, as this would ensure the snuggest possible fit.
Personally I’m all for a uniform line look and want to keep removable armor (knowing we are working on pulling back the tabs). What do you all think, should we consider making the armor non removable guaranteeing the snuggest fit possible?
