These wax figures are the best/creepiest!
Sorry, but wax figures are THE CREEPIEST!! We're talking, of course, about the miraculous wax figures of 2Pac, Notorious B.I.G., Diddy, and Snoop Dogg (Lion?), currently on display at Madame Tussauds in London. Sure, they're very lifelike and totally capture an iconic era in hip-hop, but on the other hand, PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BE MADE OF THE SAME MATERIAL AS BIRTHDAY CANDLES.
Check out more pics of the hip-hop wax figures after the jump.
Along with feeling like the above figurines will at any moment start moving around/offering us cirocs and cokes, we imagine it's a VERY confusing day for 2Pac conspiracy theorists. (The 2Pac hologram was already enough to make their heads explode.) It's also likely that 2pac and Biggie fans (especially the ones who were around in the '90s) may have a problem with 2Pac and Biggie being in the same room as one another, with only Diddy standing between them to boot. Because talk about causing inciting another East Coast/West Coast war! (In case you're just checking back in to all of pop culture, 2Pac and Biggie were hugely involved in a fatal East/West Coast hip-hop war in the '90s, which resulted in 2Pac's death, and later, Biggie's. The theory goes that Biggie was assassinated to avenge 2Pac's death -- who was also assassinated -- while some even believe Diddy, a fellow East Coaster and a friend of Biggie's, was originally behind 2Pac's murder. But don't look at us -- we're not pointing any fingers.)
So you see why it's a 'lil awkward that the three dudes are standing beside one another? Perhaps the fact that they're not on U.S. soil makes it a little less awkward? Never mind -- we're not gonna get political about it. So even though it GIVES US THE MONSTER CREEPS, we suppose we'll give a FEW props to the Madame Tussauds crew for totally nailing their interpretation of some of hip-hop's finest. Maybe even fewer props for this, how shall we say, "flexible" interpretation of Justin Bieber.
2Pac side view... JUST 'CAUSE.
