Most agree that Microsoft Flight Simulator is an impressive technical showcase, but developer Asobo Studios continues to add detail to the game's recreation of real-world sights of interest. The game's latest world update is now live, and it gives the UK and Ireland a serious paint job, with national parks, mountains, and man-made marvels each getting their due. A new video shows off some of the notable features that you can appreciate from high above in this update. It includes well-known tourist attractions such as Stonehenge and Buckingham Palace, but also the natural beauty of the Cliffs of Dover and Wales' Snowdonia National Park. There's also quite a lot of castles featured in the video, especially in Scotland. Good luck getting your copy of the game to run this smoothly, though. Microsoft Flight Simulator's previous world update overhauled Japan, and another recent update added winter weather tracking to the game. It's still not clear when the game will come to Xbox Series X, but a teaser back at the 2020 Game Awards suggested a release date of summer 2021.
