Miley Cyrus as Nicki Minaj for Halloween is pure genius.

In case you missed it, we've been doing some extensive celebrity Halloween costume coverage this week, beginning with a truly inspired Diddy dressed as Prince, followed by "Kimye" werquing their amazing "sailor in love with a mermaid" look, then Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley and girlfriend Ari Cooper dressed as Avril Lavigne and Nickelback's Chad Kroeger (LOOOOOL), and Adam Lambert and his adorable boyfriend dressed up as "Glampires." Finally, we saw some mother-daughter Halloween costume action courtesy of Tish and Brandi Cyrus. But none of that, and we repeat, NONE OF THAT holds a candle to what we're about to tell you... which is that Miley Cyrus dressed up as Nicki Minaj for Halloween, and IT. IS. EVERYTHING!

Miley completely nailed her Nicki ensemble, rocking a very Nicki-esque yellow wig, animal print jumpsuit, and perhaps most crucially, Nicki's signature, ahem, derrière! If we were Miley (and oh how we spend a good portion of each day wishing we were), we'd have finished up, checked our fake Nicki butt in the mirror, and been like "WHATEVER I KNOW I LOOK GOOD! Which Miley probably did as she tweeted her "Nicki" costume out to all her fans, with a triumphant "@NICKIMINAJ you a stupppppiddddd hoe #stupittttstupitttt." We know it may be too soon to call it (especially since TONIGHT is actual Halloween), but we're naming Miley's Nicki Minaj moment the Best Celebrity Halloween Costume of 2012. We dare you to find anything better. (Unless, of course Nicki Minaj dresses as Miley! Your move, Nick.)
