There's a new VMA category in town: Best Song Of The Summer!
One of the coolest things about summer has to be sifting through a gazillion radio-friendly songs and asking ourselves the ultimate question: WHAT was THE Best Song Of The Summer? What got our booties twerking and/or popping? What made us throw our hands in the air (presumably like we just don't care)? Well, lucky for us, the 2013 MTV VMAs are gonna make this decision verryyyy easy... with a new "Best Song Of The Summer" award category! And here's who's nominated: Miley Cyrus' twerk-tastic "We Can't Stop," Selena Gomez's sultry "Come And Get It," Robin Thicke's NSFW "Blurred Lines" (hey, hey, hey), One Direction's cheeky "Best Song Ever," Daft Punk's funk-flecked "Get Lucky," and Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding's are-they-or-aren't-they hit, "I Need Your Love." But here's the problem: WE CAN'T CHOOSE. DON'T MAKE US.
Can you help us decide who will take home the Best Song Of The Summer title? Oh, you will? THANKS!! Here's all you gotta do: Vote for your favorite summer song via Twitter, Instagram, or Vine by using one of the following hashtags: #votemiley, #votedaftpunk, #voteselena, #voteonedirection, #votethicke or #votecalvinandellie. Voting is open riiiight up to the VMAs, which air on Sunday, Aug. 25, at 9 p.m. ET.
We trust that you'll have nooo problem deciding which song to pick. Unlike us, who can barely decide what to order cook for dinner tonight. I mean, look at us -- our hands are tied! We'd donate an organ to ALL of these people! HALP!
Cast your vote NOW for this year’s Video Music Award winners from the 2013 VMA Nominees. The 2013 Video Music Awards air Aug. 25 on MTV and VMA.MTV.com, live from Brooklyn's Barclays Center. No sleep till Brooklyn!
