[UPDATE] Minecraft creator Markus "Notch" Persson wrote on Twitter after the announcement that Minecraft is not only coming to PlayStation 4, but also PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

Minecraft won't be a Microsoft-exclusive on consoles for much longer.
Today during Sony's Gamescom media briefing, the company announced that Mojang's open-ended sandbox game will be available on the PlayStation 4 at launch.
Minecraft for Xbox 360 has sold 8 million units. The game is also coming to Xbox One.
