I’ve had the privilege of being friends with Tim Bruckner for about 10 years now, and I don’t think we’ve ever had a phone conversation shorter than an hour as we talk about art, sculpture, the industry, and everything else under the sun. He’s a fascinating, funny person and a master at his craft. If you’ve read any of his book Pop Sculpture: How to Create Action Figures and Collectible Statues that he co-wrote with Zach Oat and Ruben Proccopio then you know when it comes to sculpture and art he really knows his stuff, but never takes himself too seriously.
Now you can spend a half hour with Mr. Bruckner as he talks about his craft, his early work and much more in this extra long video interview/feature with “Monster Model Review.”
Pour yourself a drink (Tim wouldn’t have it any other way) and set back and watch Tim talk about his career, the book and some of his favorite projects.
