Indie-rock faves Young The Giant and Walk The Moon hit the road in the chilly Midwest this February for the 2012 mtvU Woodies Tour. Thankfully Walk The Moon liked it so much that they decided to play the Woodie Awards Festival, which is a big hooray for everyone. Or at least a big hooray for fans of Walk The Moon's infectious single "Anna Sun" (which we're pretty sure calculates out to everyone).

We know we're excited, but Walk The Moon has to be pretty pumped as well -- the Cincinnati rockers are nominated for a Breaking Woodie this year, which is not nearly as painful as it sounds. It's the Woodies' version of Best New Artist, featuring acts like fun., Lana Del Rey, Machine Gun Kelly and the like. It's a pretty tough competition, but it's decided by you guys so make sure you go vote!
