The Museum’s Breaking Bad exhibit will be open for after-hours viewing; thousands of dollrs worth of Walter White action figures, courtesy of Mezco Toyz, will be raffled off.
New York – Sunday, September 27, 2013- What will happen to Walter White? The highly acclaimed AMC television series Breaking Bad, winner of the Emmy for Best Dramatic Series, will end on Sunday, September 29 with its eagerly awaited final episode. In conjunction with the exhibit From Mr. Chips to Scarface: Walter White’s Transformation in Breaking Bad, the Museum will present a live screening of the series finale, in the beautiful Redstone Theater. The series has received praise for its cinematic quality, and here is a special opportunity to experience it on the big screen with an audience full of the show’s fans.
The Museum’s Breaking Bad exhibit, which features costumes worn by Bryan Cranston’s character alongside iconic props from the show, will be open from 7:00-9:00 p.m. prior to the event. The exhibit will continue to be on view at the Museum through October 27.
Tickets are no longer available for this live viewing, which were offered in advance, free with Museum admission.

Mezco’s Breaking Bad action figures, plush figures, bobbleheads, and Pink Teddy Bear Eyeball have taking the world of collecting by storm, with some rare variants fetching hundreds of dollars each on the secondary market.
Later in 2013, Mezco will be donating the prototypes of the action figures to be included in the museum’s renowned Behind The Screen exhibit of movie tie in products. Mezco has donated countless artifacts to the museum over the years. Mezco’s King Kong prototpe action figure is on permanant display in the museam in a custom made showcase, where he has become a fan favorite of visitors.
