Fans Can Purchase Rare Items, Get Exclusive Previews of New Products, Learn How Their Toys Are Made, Meet Designers and Artists, Plus Much More
New Jersey based licensed merchandise giants National Entertainment Collectibles Association (NECA), are set to showcase at the inaugural New Jersey Comic Expo on November 21st and 22nd at the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center in Edison.
NECA will be exhibiting at the expo, as well as presenting a panel, and plan on giving attendees a great and exclusive look into what makes them leaders in the marketplace. Fans can get their hands on some rare warehouse finds, as well as out of print/production items and some highly sought after items previously exclusive to SDCC such as figures from their leading lines of Predator, Pacific Rim, Pirates of the Carribean, Harry Potter, Nightmare Before Christmas, and more.
Many of NECA’s holiday and end of the year releases will be on display in custom built dioramas that really bring them to life. Fans can get an exclusive glimpse into releases from their lines ranging from movies, television, pop culture, classic horror and video games. Attendees will also get an exclusive sneak peak into what’s on tap at NECA for 2016, along with a few teases and one big announcement about a whole new product line they are launching that has been nearly two years in the making!
In addition, NECA will be joining an incredible programming lineup at the New Jersey Comic Expo (NJCE). Representatives of virtually every department at NECA will take part in the panel will cover how a toy is actually made and the role each person plays from design, sculpting, painting, packaging, and marketing. Every single facet will be covered, they will discuss what’s new and what they are working on, questions will be taken and answered from the audience, and they will also be giving away some free toys to some lucky attendees.
“We are very excited to have this amazing new show right in our area,” said Randy Falk, Director of Product Development at NECA. “Our studio is literally 25 minutes away, so this is a perfect place to exhibit, meet fans, and interact with our customer base. Plus the lineup of comic book talent appearing at the show is truly AAA. The team at MAD Event Management has been incredibly supportive and committed to putting together a quality show that has something for all ages and is family friendly. It should be a great weekend and an amazing event for all of us.”
