Netflix's GLOW will not be returning for a fourth and final season. The drama/comedy was originally renewed back in August 2019, but has now become the latest casualty of the coronavirus-related production shutdowns that have taken over the entertainment industry. According to Deadline, GLOW was about three weeks into filming its fourth season when production was suspended in mid-March. At the time of the shutdown, GLOW had completed only one episode. The series, which starred Alison Brie, Betty Gilpin, and Marc Maron, earned a multitude of award nominations and critical acclaim, including an Emmy on its premiere season for Best Comedy Series, Best Supporting Actress for Glipin, and Best Directing for the pilot.
