Movie and TV productions are slowly starting to restart after the COVID-19 pandemic caused major shutdowns across the entertainment industry. Following the news that Jurassic World: Dominion will resume shooting in London next month, the Netflix fantasy series The Witcher has also announced a restart date.

The Witcher also shoots in the UK, and in a tweet from the show's official account, it was confirmed that production on Season 2 will resume on August 17. The tweet is written as a poem in the style of show's bard Jaskier. Check it out below:

The new season of The Witcher was in production at Arborfield Studios, 40 miles from London, when it closed down in March. It was the first major production to be suspended in the UK, after actor Kristofer Hivju tested positive for the virus.
