The next new Mattel line we are looking at for 2014 is the 6″ mass retail value line “DC Total Heroes.”   This first wave of the 6″ figures is now hitting mass retail shelves and on-line retailers such as Amazon.com and BigBadToyStore.com.   This line of stylize figures that utilize the same basic “buck” will be a hybrid line at both mass retail and quarterly releases on MattyCollector.com.

This is meant to be a “budget” line for kids and collectors.  Still 6″ in height, but with fewer paint ops and less articulation than a figure like Mattel’s DC Universe classics line in order the keep the suggested retail price down to around $10.

The first retail wave consists of: Superman, Batman, The Flash and Aquaman.   The first two MattyCollector.com releases will be Black Manta, Batman Beyond (with Micron) and John Stewart/Green Lantern Corps.
