Alicia Keys debuts the autobiographical new song, "Brand New Me."

Alicia Keys has been a virtual freight train of productivity these days, and as far as we can tell, she's not planning to stop any time soon. And why would she when she's got fans kvelling over her "Girl On Fire" performance at the 2012 MTV VMAs, her previous release "New Day," and most recent song "Not Even The King"? Well, not to overload you here, but you now have permission to obsess over Alicia's new song "Brand New Me," because trust us -- it's definitely kvell-worthy.

Alicia debuted the new track from her forthcoming Girl on Fire LP this past Friday when she performed at the iTunes Festival in London. Alicia introduced her new record, a somber piano-driven track, as "my autobiography" before delving into some very personal lyrics: "I don’t need your opinion, I'm not waiting for your OK/ I’'ll never be perfect, but at least now I'm brave/ Now my heart is open, and I can finally breathe/ Don't be mad, it's just a brand-new kinda free/ That ain't bad -- I found a brand-new kinda me." Well, we never thought Alicia needed to change one iota (we've adored her since "Fallin'"), but if the new her sounds like this, then let us be the first to say: WELCOME! Charmed to meet you, Alica 2.0.
