Ariana Grande teams up with Big Sean on her new track, "Right There."
As we get closer and closer to the Sept. 3 release date of Ariana Grande's debut disc, Yours Truly, we also get closer and closer to the possibility that the album might very well be the '90s pop-R&B throwback disc of our dreams!! But no, seriously, from her Mac Miller-assisted "The Way" to the summery "Baby I" to her duet with The Wanted's Nathan Sykes on "Almost Is Never Enough," Ariana is 100 percent poised for a full-scale takeover. And just to tip the scales? Grande has just released "Right There," a fun new collabo with rapper Big Sean.

Featuring an old-school sample from Lil Kim's 1996 single "Crush On You," Ariana's breezy vocals and twinkling melisma lay perfectly over the swirling track. Opening the record, Big Sean rhymes about Ariana's, erhmm, attractive bone structure: "OK, this, this, this for my number one girl who got the top spot title/ Spent a hour in the bathroom walked out looking like a model." Ariana pipes up next, cooing flirtatiously: "Boy you make me feel lucky/ Finally the stars align/ Never has it been so easy, tell me you love/ And to give you this heart of mine."
About her collaboration with Big Sean, Ariana has explained that "Right There" is "kind of like the sequel to 'The Way,'" which, in our opinion, makes total sense! And if we're going off of that logic, "Right There" is probably gonna take the No. 1 spot on iTunes, riiiight?? Exactly.
Anyway, if you want even more Grande before Yours Truly drops (and we wouldn't blame you one bit), catch Ariana opening for Justin Bieber on three dates of his "Believe" Tour before she kicks off her own tour, "The Listening Sessions," on Aug. 13.
