B.o.B. and Taylor Swift's 'Both Of Us' is for all of us.
Admittedly, we never saw a Taylor Swift and B.o.B. collaboration coming. But B.o.B.'s forthcoming album, Strange Clouds, also boasts cameos by Morgan Freeman (!!!), and that's decidedly more bizarre. When she wasn't busy heading to the studio to write her next album, Taylor took some time out to work on "Both Of Us," her moving duet with B.o.B. And guess what -- WE LOVE.

Surprisingly, "Both Of Us" does a killer job of fusing country and hip-hop together to create one killer track. Taylor's ethereal, slightly country-tinged vocals open the record, and if you didn't know that B.o.B was about to come in and drop a dope verse, you might think this was a straight-up country-pop tune off Taylor's next album: "I wish I was strong enough to lift not one but both of us/Someday I will be strong enough to lift not one but both of us.” B.o.B. is up next, rhyming about rising above all the crap and winning: "If it’s all for one, and one for all/ Then maybe one day we all could ball/ Do it one time for the underdogs."
If you're wondering how this eccentric collaboration came together, then you can thank Ms. Taylor Swift for being totally ballsy -- she asked for it! It was Taylor who came to Atlanta and reached out to Grand Hustle about working together. According to Grand Hustle top dog T.I., “Taylor’s extended Hustle Gang. She a part of the crew," he told Fuse in March. "She just ain’t got her dog tags yet, but she’s a part of the crew tho.” We totally knew it -- Taylor Swift's inner bad-ass transcends all musical boundaries!
