When it comes to Cody Simpson, we're usually too busy deciding how it's genetically possible for his hair to be that voluminous instead of listening to his music. Haha, just kidding! In reality, we actually Stan for Cody hardcore and can't get enough of his surf-pop sound, which is masterfully highlighted in jams like "Pretty Brown Eyes" and "Summertime Of Our Lives." Now, the artful selfie-taker has just released a new summery track, "La Da Dee," which has been tapped for the Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2 soundtrack.

Produced by Wayne Wilkins, "La Da Dee" also appears on the Young Hollywood Award winner's latest disc, Surfers Paradise. Led by some plucky, beachy guitars (think a younger Jack Johnson), the surfer boy sings his onomatopoeia-laced chorus: "La da dee/ La da dee doo/ La da dee me/ La da dee you/ La da dee/ La da dee doo/ There's only me/ There's only you."
