New Song: Cris Cab, ‘Paradise On Earth’

Cris Cab is a reggae-pop prince in his latest tune, "Paradise On Earth."

Not to toot our own horns or whatever, but we basically knew Cris Cab was something way back when he dropped his infectious cover of Wiz Khalifa's "Black & Yellow," you know, MANY MONTHS AGO. (Are we on our grind, or what?) Since then, Cris has been on a nonstop roll, releasing banger after banger. And did we we mention his single "Good Girls (Don't Grow On Trees)" was cowritten by Pharrell, produced by Wyclef, and got a verse assist from Big Sean? Yep, not kidding around here.

Listen to Cris Cab's "Paradise On Earth" after the jump.

To the delight of his fans, Cris recently announced that his debut EP, Rise, will be released on Oct. 9. But if you can't wait the 17 and-a-half days (yes we counted, so what?), then you'll be thrilled to know that Cris has just unleashed "Paradise On Earth," the second offering from Rise. Produced by Malay (Frank Ocean's Channel Orange), "Paradise On Earth" takes Cris' signature reggae-pop sound to an entirely new level. Vocally Cris is on point -- and the song is so vibed out, you're legitimately unsure if you're still chilling in your one-bedroom, or on a beach somewhere in Jamaica holding a daiquiri. Bottom line, with Pharrell and Wyclef on your side, that can ONLY spell good things. Plus some more tropical-vacay-daiquiri feelings never hurt anybody!
