True story: Nile Rodgers, "Get Lucky" guitarist and renowned disco icon, flies coach. Or at least he did on a late-night JetBlue flight from JFK to LAX last week, which included a two-hour delay and six hours of screaming babies. He went home and tweeted about dancing to Daft Punk before bed. That's dedication. We bet he was jamming to the French duo's own "Get Lucky" remix, an extended, 10-minute cut of the song that gives us what we want: MORE ROBOTS.

The remixed "Get Lucky" opens with the original's familiar funk-tinged guitar line before Daft Punk's vocoder hooks -- formerly reserved for the song's end -- make an appearance, intertwining with Pharrell Williams' human, unprocessed vocals. The song's pieces have been rearranged in intriguing ways: Pharrell's hook overlaps his straining pre-chorus about coming too far/staying who we are, and an instrumental break lets the rhythm tracks shine before the vocoder pops back in. This is great, robo-dudes -- can we get a 20-minute version next? Or should we just play this on loop forever? Let us know, we'll be here all day.

Daft Punk's Random Access Memories is available now, and the "Get Lucky" remix will be available on vinyl July 16.
