Joey Bada$$ trades New York for Chicago on his latest jam, "Wendy N Becky."
Though he's dedicated to staying on the indie track, up-and-coming Brooklyn MC Joey Bada$$ is playing his collaboration cards just right as far as we're concerned. The breakout Pro Era star has independently worked with everyone from A$AP Rocky to Mac Miller, teamed up with DJ Premier on the recently released "Unorthodox," and joined Big K.R.I.T and Smoke DZA on "Underground Airplay." Now, the 2013 Artist To Watch, a tried and true East Coaster, is crossing state lines to work with Chicago's Chance The Rapper on a new track called "Wendy N Becky."

Produced by second Chicago native, Thelonious Martin, "Wendy N Becky" features Joey and Chance spitting about their many, uh, romantic adventures since their rise to recognition (and for NSFW reasons, it's probably best to leave it at that). Thelonious layers rhymes over a jazzy, John Coltrane-sampling track, culminating in the duo chanting, "Wendy N Becky, you so sexy but you can't apex me." Ever the hip-hop traditionalist, Joey builds upon his signature '90s vibe, even going so far to joke about it with a line about a chick telling him how he "raps old." Some girls just don't know the classics, Joe!
