Check out Never Shout Never's brand-new track, "Magic."
We kinda love self-made artists -- especially Never Shout Never, a Missouri-based kick start project fronted by Christofer Drew Ingle. Straddling the line between emo pop and arena rock (think Jukebox the Ghost or Jason Mraz), Never Shout Never was born on the Internet, gaining thousands of followers before Christofer released his first Yippee EP in 2008. Now the one-man band has evolved into three dudes, and they're back with a brand-new single called "Magic," a sunshiny track that's slated to appear on the outfit's fourth album Indigo, dropping Nov. 13.

Opening to a retro set of electric-guitar strums, "Magic" swiftly turns into an endearing pop track featuring the band harmonizing while Christofer croons, "I know someone downtown who'll let us drink for free/ The best moments in life are always cheap/ I got a couple of tricks hidden up my sleeve/ Spend the night with me then you'll know what I mean." Well, we'd be lying if we said we didn't like a dude with some confidence. That certainly never hurts. (Amirite, ladieeees?) And oh, one more thing: In addition to releasing Indigo this fall, Never Shout Never also plans to kick off a headlining tour, kicking off Nov. 20 in Des Moines, Iowa.
