Pusha talks BIG figures on his latest song, "Numbers On The Boards."
Oh, to be in the G.O.O.D. Music family. Can you imagine what it'd be like to have Kanye West as a boss? Minus all the hard work (he's probably a teensy bit demanding), it's probably caviar every morning, champagne every night, and every super producer on speed dial (no wonder Big Sean makes songs about never leaving the fold). Pusha T must also realize how good he has it, because not only did Kanye end his social media embargo to tweet about "Numbers On The Boards," from Pusha's forthcoming My Name Is My Name, but 'Ye ALSO coproduced the track. Welcome to the "Good Life," indeed.

Funnily enough, Pusha's new track was spurned by another rap kingpin's surprise song: Jay-Z's "Open Letter." When Kanye and Pusha heard Jigga's fiery response against the media, they both decided to drop their jam, with Kanye tweeting, "Our family Hov brought that real hip hop s*** this morning so me and Pusha wanna keep that feeling going." A few hours later, "Numbers On The Boards" was born.
The beat begins in a sparse, grimy monotone (very different than the Kanye bombast we're accustomed to), while Push rhymes about how he's untouchable in rap and wealth: "Your plane's missing a chef/ The common thing see they both got wings/ If you fly, do it to death." He's totally right -- when we fly we usually have to squeeze into a tiny window seat and ease our stomach with ginger ale. But we suppose once you've reached a certain level of success, a LOT of things just come easier (like dropping everything to record a song with Kanye, for example).
