Rita Ora and Snoop Lion mourn their lost loves in "Torn Apart."
The artist formerly known as Snoop Dogg, aka Snoop Lion, just loves him some blondes! First, he calls on professional pixie blonde Miley Cyrus for an assist on "Ashtrays And Heartbreaks," and now Snoop's all about the Jay-Z-championed singer Rita Ora. Word on the street is that Snoop and Rita became besties during their "Torn Apart" video shoot in Thailand, a sequence of events that seems bizarre since, well, we haven't even heard the song yet! That is, of course, until now, as Snoop and Rita have finally unveiled their hotly anticipated collaboration jam, slated to appear on Snoop's forthcoming album, Reincarnated.

Set to a reggae-tinged beat courtesy of Major Lazer, the Doggfather spits a verse about getting his heart broken: "My reputation says I'm there from now/ And now she's going away/ And now I'm so torn apart." (We'll take this moment to remind you of our obsession with emo rappers.) Next, the "Shine Ya Light" singer's sultry R&B pipes chime in on the chorus, echoing Snoop's melancholy sentiment: "I was such a beginner on this thing called love/ And now he's going away/ And now I'm torn apart/ So torn apart." Don't worry, you two! Those losers didn't recognize your talent! Snoop, we know you and Rita can't date since, well, you're all wifed up with kids. Time to break out the "Cute Single Friends For Rita" Rolodex!
