Taylor Swift is back with a vengeance with her latest breakup anthem, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."
Nobody writes a breakup song better than Taylor Swift, and she is true to form on her latest anthem, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together." The new track is slated to appear on Taylor's forthcoming album, Red, a title she announced via a live YouTube chat with a gathering of her biggest fans in Nashville.

We'll start out by saying Taylor's new song is unlike any other T-Swift song you've heard. It's more pop than country, and though you can still hear Taylor's cute country twang buried beneath the sparkly pop production, the shouts, chants, and ooohs on the chorus make this sound more like early Katy Perry than anything previously heard from Ms. Swift. And that's not a bad thing!
In her new anthem, Taylor sings about a failed relationship (what else is new), but she's the one taking the reigns this time around: "I say, I hate you, we break up, you call me, I love you/ Oooh we called it off again last night/ But Oooh, this time I'm telling you, I'm telling you/ We are never ever ever ever getting back together." Yeah, dawg, three strikes and you're out! We would tell Taylor's new man, Conor Kennedy, to watch out, but rumor has it that Taylor thinks he's "the one." Plus, if they ever do break up, I'm sure he'll bounce right back. He's an effing Kennedy!
