Or in other words, THE WAIT IS OVER/your gym mix will be forever changed!
Listen Missy Elliott's "9th Inning" and "Triple Threat" after the jump.
Produced by the "One Minute Man" singer's longtime collaborator and pal Timbaland, both "9th Inning" and "Triple Threat" are slated to be the first singles off Missy's forthcoming and tentatively titled Block Party. In "9th Inning" Missy spits about her comeback: "Now I’m in the 9th inning/Thought I fell off'/I ain’t quite finish.../2012 there’ll be no games/ Real rap, real bars, I'm not playin'." We never thought you were, lady!
In "Triple Threat," Missy raps over a Timbaland-esque beat, and reminds the world that they're BFFs while she's at it: "Me and Timbaland the new Ike and Tina/Tag team/Bada-bing it/It's like Venus and Serena/Timby and I throwin' up.../I done told y'all can't mess with us." Never had the guts to try, but thanks for the warning!
And if your Missy craving STILL hasn't been satiated, then for heaven's sake, keep an eye out for Missy and French Montana on tomorrow's "RapFix Live." Catch the show at 4pm E.T. Wednesday on RapFix.MTV.com. And don't forget to tweet artist questions to @MTVRapFix!
