Alica Keys works her best mommy moment in her "Girl On Fire" video.

You pretty much knew Alicia Keys' "Girl On Fire" was gonna be a mega-smash after watching her (Nicki Minaj-assisted) performance at the 2012 MTV VMAs. And guess what! We wanted to let you know that y'all are geniuses, because not only is the song a bona fide banger, but the video is every bit as fabulous (times a million).

Though Nicki Minaj doesn't appear in the Sophie Muller-directed clip (SADZ), there are rumors that some "Girl On Fire (Inferno) remix visuals might be on the horizon. In the meantime, the "New Day" singer does just fine on her own playing a retro housewife, chef, and most of all, a happy mother (shout out to her son Egypt, perhaps?). In typical Sophie Muller fashion, the video is full of lush and rich colors, and even though there's no man in sight, Alicia handles mommy duty with ease and grace. Thankfully, Alicia's IRL hubby seems to us like a standup dad and is probably around to help puree the fresh organic veggies they custom-prepare for their son. No formula for that kid!
