Cassie and Rick Ross offer to "Numb" our brain in their brand-new video.
We haven't really heard from Cassie since she straight flirted with Nicki Minaj in "The Boys," but now the half-shaved head pioneer is back with a brand-new clip for "Numb," the first visual off her new mixtape, RockaByeBaby, dropping April 11. Oh, and she's recruited Rick Ross (the bawse!), so, like, NEED WE SAY MORE?
Watch Cassie's "Numb" video featuring Rick Ross after the jump.
At the top of the Alex Nazari-directed clip, the "King of Hearts" singer strolls down a busy L.A. street as she smizes and oh-so-casually coos the hook to her new jam: "I make music to numb your brain." The Teflon Don's up next to spit his verse -- mainly about expensive Celine bags and "cheddar" -- while rocking a giant fur coat and smoking cigars. Sure, that might seem a little excessive, but you KNOW you'd do the same exact thing if you could.
About her new mixtape, Cassie explains: "This mixtape is about more than just music, it's about the art, the visuals and the people. I wanted to release RockaByeBaby to show my appreciation to the supporters that have been there from day one and always believed in me and my art." So, according to that math, this mixtape is totally dedicated to US! We've been Cassie Stans since the "Me & U" days!
