Chvrches play with kaleidoscopic vision in their new "Gun" video.
It's a good thing Glasgow's Chvrches showed up when they did -- what else would we dance to this summer? After releasing such addicting electro-pop anthems like "The Mother We Share" and the super synthy "Recover," Lauren Mayberry, Iain Cook, and Martin Doherty are back with their dizzyingly kaleidoscopic "Run" video, a brand-new track that's expected to appear on Chvrches' upcoming debut album, The Bones Of What You Believe.

Set to a retro, '80s-inspired melody, "Gun" is a sweeping vision of shapes and colors, all culminating in irresistible shots of the band rocking out next to a Weezer Blue Album-hued background. The track itself is a pulsating revenge note -- perhaps an electronic fist-shake to someone who ghosted after a few great OkCupid dates? "Hide, hide, I have burned your bridges/ Now I'll be a gun/ And it's you I'll come for/ I, I, have never felt so easy/ I will be a gun/ And you I'll come for," sings the delicate-looking Mayberry, whose high-pitched vocals sound like a dead ringer for Madonna (circa 1985, of course) and/or Kylie Minogue.
Get into the groove below, and look out for Chvrches' upcoming debut, The Bones Of What You Believe, on Sept. 24.
