Dinosaur Jr. teams up with comedian Tim Heidecker in the band's latest clip for "Watch The Corners."
Indie rockers Dinosaur Jr. are back after three years away with their tenth studio album, I Bet On Sky, on Sept. 18, and they probably couldn't have come up with a better way to return than with a video featuring Tim Heidecker of comedy duo Tim and Eric. The seminal alt-rock legends (seriously, if you don't know them, look 'em up, they are amazing and have been forever) are clearly not skittish about being funny (check out lead singer/guitarist J Mascis getting interviewed by "Portlandia" star Fred Armisen). In the band's latest video for "Watch The Corners," we see Tim as a caring, but maybe too overprotective father to a young girl who can't wait to cut loose. She (and her dad) unleash the most hell probably ever seen on a small town grocery store.

At the beginning of the clip, we see Tim dropping off his daughter to her first day of work at a local grocery store, and he can't seem to let go of her. Eventually, she gets to work and notices everyone around her has pixelated faces (perhaps an allusion to her sheltered upbringing). It's not that long until she notices a boy who seems to be the dangerous type (why is it always so easy to fall for the BAD ONES?!) Soon enough, papa finds out, and he's not happy. Things eventually come to a head, and without spoiling the ending, it's safe to say it's absolutely ridiculous and kinda sweet at the same time. Hold on, getting emotional. Need to call my dad for a sec.
