Kelly Rowland airs her "Dirty Laundry" in this heartbreaking music video.
After an eternity-long silence (read: 28 days) since releasing the last teaser for her "Dirty Laundry" music video, Kelly Rowland has FUH-HINALLY dropped the finished clip for the second single off of Talk A Good Game. Apparently all that post-production time was well spent, as the Sarah McColgan-directed end result is the perfect, tear-soaked catharsis that the song itself deserves. I've just got one bone to pick, Ms. Kelly, and that's why, after watching your video, are there jet-black streams of mascara running down my face?! I DIDN'T HAVE ANY ON.

Alternating between scenes representing Rowland's internal pain (staring her own reflection down while waist-deep in the water, floating in a state of semi-paralysis in a pool, getting drenched from all directions by water and suds as if inside of a washing machine) and those depicting the real-world events that caused said pain (an abusive relationship that ranges from verbal to physical), it's truly heartbreaking to see just how much private suffering Kelly dealt with, and even worse, how unaware we were of it.
Though the "Kisses Down Low" singer bemoans, "When you've soaked in tears for years it never airs out," we know that that won't be the case for her. HELLO, Kelly is a SURVIVOR -- whether with her Destiny's Child sisters on a deserted island, or braving the waters off the coast of Cape Cod.
