FINALLY Girl groups are getting a little recognition like Little Mix with their video "Wings."
We've been saying it for a minute, and we're gonna keep on saying it: Girl groups are so back, you guys. One of the best new entrants on the scene? The unstoppable Little Mix, the four-piece who won the British version of "The X Factor" last year based on some serious vocal prowess (this cover of "Cannonball," OMG), and also being, y'know, ridiculously cool. (What we'd give to pull off those hats and look as swaggin' as they do!)

Now, the girls have dropped the video for their first post-"X Factor" single, "Wings," and it's a surefire banger -- an anthemic, horns 'n' clapping 'n' stomping track with a big inspirational message. "Mama told me not to waste my life/ She said, 'Spread your wings, my little butterfly,'" the girls harmonize over layers of percussive beats. And the clip? Well, it's dazzling and colorful, but it basically just sees the girls looking effortlessly cool in a series of hip getups, punctuated by our favorite sequence of chair-dancing we've seen since Britney Spears' "Stronger" video. (And that's saying something.) Who needs to be high-concept when you have this much attitude?
Could this be the beginning of a Stateside Little Mix takeover? We wouldn't be surprised. Their wings were made to fly, y'all!
