Lupe Fiasco and Guy Sebastian mend their broken hearts on their latest collabo "Battle Scars."
Lupe Fiasco has been a busy, busy man. In anticipation of his upcoming album, Lupe Fiasco's Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album Pt. 1, he's dropped two clips thus far: "Around My Way (Freedom Ain't Free)," which ignited a mini-controversy with sample source Pete Rock, and another for "Bitch Bad," which also sparked a huge conversation about gender roles, and even caused Lupe to boycott a major music mag. NBD. Hopefully with his video for "Battle Scars" featuring Australian singer Guy Sebastian, things will go a little more smoothly for the Chicago MC.

"Battle Scars," originally released by Sebastian in Australia (with supporting vocals from Lupe), will instead be re-released in the States as a side-by-side collaboration between the two musicians. And let it be said: We totally think the duo work so well 'cause they're so brokenhearted! "These battle scars don’t look like they’re fading /Don’t look like they’re ever going away / They ain't never gonna change," Sebastian sings in a war-torn abandoned warehouse. Aww, how do you not feel for that?!
Even if you're not yet familiar with Guy Sebastian, we think you'll be better acquainted soon enough. He was a judge on the Australian "X Factor," he's scored a handful of No. 1 singles Down Under, and we are DEF getting a Bruno Mars vibe from him. With all that going for him, he's just WAITING to be discovered Stateside! Also, he's rocking an accent, which is an automatic heart-melter. Surely someone will scoop these two lovelorn dudes up, right?
